Q&A
Nose Reshaping or Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

What are the benefits of non-surgical rhinoplasty?
Nonsurgical rhinoplasty or nose filler is used to reshape the nose or elevate the tip of the nose, It is particularly suitable if you have a bump on the nose or a droopy tip.
What can’t a nose filler do?
It can’t reduce the width of the nose, though some inject filler at the base of the nose on either side to reduce the width, the results with this are not promising. Nose filler cannot make the nose smaller. Sometimes it can be used to create a sharper reflection on the nose so it appears thinner.
How long does it take?
Nose filler generally takes around 30 mins. Involves applying the numbing cream for 5- 10 mins before injecting the filler.
What is the down time?
There is no real down time if there is no bruising. If you have a bruise, it may take few days to settle. Immediately after the procedure the nose will be mildly swollen which will settle. We advise you not to use sunglasses to avoid pressure on the nose. We also advise you to sleep straight with two pillows for 48 hours so there is no pressure on the nose. Other post filler instructions are the same as any other fillers.
What are the risk involved?
Nose is considered as a high risk area for the filler and the risks include, bruising and lump formation. A small possibility of injecting into the blood vessel causing skin scarring or blindness. However, we do take precautions to avoid these complications by using certain techniques and expertise.
