What is Jawline enhancement?

Jawline contouring or enhancement is a technique to define the border of the jaw and to create the contouring. It can also be used to protrude the receding chin and or to change from a square chin to an angular chin in women. It can also be used to create a square chin or ‘texas jaw’ in men.

 

How is it performed?

Jawline contouring involves a thorough assessment of the jaw muslces, jowls and the neck muscles. If the jaw and neck muslces are not pulling on the jaw, we would advise only fillers. If there is a pocket of fat below the chin that is obscuring the jaw definition we would be advised fat-melting along with fillers.

 

Can I have botox for my jaw

Yes, Botox can be used to enhance and slim the jaw. Botox can also be used in the neck muscles to release the pulling on the jaw and provide a smooth jaw contour.
