5/7/8 Point face Lift

 

What is a 5/7/8 point face lift?

5/7/8 point facelift can be achieved with either hyaluronic acid fillers. It involves the injection of fillers in particularly defined pockets of fat to achieve a lift.

 

Where will you inject the filler?

Standard injection areas are the temples, cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and pre-jowl sulcus.

 

What is the usual cost?

The cost depends on the amount of filler that is used. Usually, individuals who have lost volume either due to stress or weight loss will need more amount of filler which will add up to the cost.

 

What filler would you use?

Since the fillers are injected deep into the bone and are aimed at creating a list. High prime (thickness) fillers are used. We would normally use Juvaderm Voluma for such a procedure.

 

What is the downtime?

The downtime is the same as any other filler injections.

 

Do I need to take any special precautions?

We advise you not to massage the area, use the steam sauna or heat therapy for at least 5 days. Please try and sleep straight with two pillows rather than sleep on the side or on the face.

 

What are the risks of the procedure?

A common risk is bruising. Infection and the possibility of injecting into a blood vessel are extremely rare. Most injectors would not see a case in their lifetime.

 

How long does this treatment last?

Most filler treatments last up to a year. However, individual metabolism varies and hence the longevity of the filler also varies.
